Silly School with Teacher Greg provides quality, affordable and fun virtual online classes to students ages 5-10 live through zoom. Be a part of a growing market of online students where you can have fun with your job.
Virtual General Education Teacher
We're currently seeking part time teachers for a remote teaching opportunity. The teacher will provide instruction, guidance, and promote engagement to students who attend the virtual classes through Zoom.

- Students ages 5-10
Requirements:
- Minimum two years experience teaching or leading children's programing
- High speed internet connection
- A reliable desktop or laptop for class meetings
- MUST reside in the United States of America (excluding New York and California)
- Must be 18 years or older and legally be allowed to work in the USA.
- To teach academic classes you must have a Bachelors Degree
- For social clubs and video game classes no Bachelors Degree is required
Responsibilities:
- Provide your available schedule 3 weeks prior to start of classes being taught and commit to that schedule for a minimum of 8 weeks.
- Inform Silly School with Teacher Greg no less than 20 days prior to a change in schedule to provide adequate time to communicate with students and their families of the changes.
- Be prepared with an understanding of the scheduled lesson to teach assigned classes on the scheduled dates and times.
- Manage classroom behavior to ensure the safety and optimal learning environment for all enrolled.
- Provide a fun and interactive learning environment through the lessons and curriculum provided to you for the class.
- Check email multiple times throughout your day for messages about new or canceled enrollments, changes to future schedules and misc. questions/information about any classes taught. Any message that asks for a response should be replied to within 24 hours unless otherwise stated in the message.
What will you be teaching?
A variety of subjects and topics are available to teach through Silly School With Teacher Greg. The exact class types taught will be determined during and after your interview based on your strengths. Some possible class types include but are not limited to:
- Math
- Geography
- Science
- General Education
- Art
- Music
- Video Games
- Health and Fitness
Pay:
- This position will be an independent contractor (not an employee). Taxes will not be taken out of your payment. You are responsible for paying your own taxes.
- Payment is per class taught with different length of classes paying different amounts. The average pay per hour will be $30.
- Classes will be assigned based on the available schedule that you provide.
- Payment will be contingent on the completion of the class being taught. All classes must have a minimum of 3 students enrolled in order for a class to begin.
Any class that drops below 3 students due to withdrawal will remain off the schedule for 2 weeks and then canceled if enrollments do not rise to the minimum of 3 or above.
