Tier-1: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge:

o Diagnose, research, and resolve tier 1 technical hardware and software issues.

o Provide accurate information on IT products and services.

o Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.

Skills:

o Strong customer support skills

o Excellent written and verbal communication skills

o Effectively advise and assist customers on appropriate action.

Abilities:

o Problem-solving ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.

o Demonstrates eagerness to learn and flexibility with the ability to multi-task.

o Possess attention to detail and follow-through.

o Ability to be flexible, multi-task and organize priorities in a fast-paced work environment, while maintaining a high level of focus and accuracy.

o High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.

o Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via phone, chat, SMS, e-mail, or in person.

o Properly document information and direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.

o Able to work shift hours of 8:00am-5:00pm Monday- Friday with some early Shifts (7:00am-4:00pm) and rotating Saturday shifts (10:00am-7:00pm)

o Create, edit, and respond to IT Help Desk tickets.

o Maintain the highest possible level of customer service.

o Document administrative time.

o Other duties as assigned.

Certifications:

o CompTIA A+ (required)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
